No. Everything runs entirely on your device inside Android's secure sandbox. Your images, documents, and PDFs never leave your phone — not even anonymously.

Images are saved to Pictures/CameraCompressor and PDFs to Downloads/SnapCompressor. You can also share directly from the result screen.

There is no hard limit imposed by the app — performance depends on your device's available memory. Very large batches (50+ high-resolution photos) may take longer on older devices.

This app runs entirely inside your device's sandboxed container. No files, photos, camera pixels, PDF pages, or configuration records ever leave your phone. We collect 100% zero data.

No crash tracking or telemetry

Snap Compressor does not integrate any external tracking APIs or telemetry services. Any operational errors remain local to your Android system crash log — nothing is sent externally.

Media & storage permissions

Storage access is used solely to select images for local compression under Android Sandbox rules. Image data is held in local memory buffers and cleared entirely once compression terminates.

Children's safety

With zero network connectivity and no user registration, Snap Compressor is inherently COPPA and Google Play Families Policy compliant. Minors can safely use the app with no risk of information exposure.

Intellectual property

All software interfaces, graphical design layouts, adaptive scaling logic, and in-app compression pipelines are the exclusive intellectual property of Purple Labs. Reverse engineering or unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.

Offline execution

Results are achieved via local Android graphics decoders. While our algorithm executes deep downsampling to reach your chosen size target, exact output ratios depend on input file composition, color space, and complexity — results may vary.

No warranty

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without external warranties of any kind. Purple Labs offers no cloud storage or backup mechanism for lost documents. You are responsible for maintaining original copies of your files.

Limitation of liability

We hold no liability for lost documents, system failures, or target deviation consequences resulting from custom third-party operating firmware installations or file system corruption on your device.

Updates to these terms

Purple Labs reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Check this page periodically for any changes.

How to remove your data

No server-side data exists

Snap Compressor never uploads, transmits, or stores any of your files or personal information on external servers. There is no account, no cloud profile, and no analytics data associated with you anywhere outside your device.

Uninstall the app

Long-press Snap Compressor on your home screen or app drawer → tap Uninstall. All app data stored on your device is permanently deleted by Android.

Delete exported files (optional)

Any compressed images you saved go to Pictures/CameraCompressor and PDFs to Downloads/SnapCompressor. Delete those folders via your file manager if desired.

Clear from Google Play (optional)

In Google Play Store → tap your profile → Manage apps & device → Manage → find Snap Compressor → tap to remove from purchase history if you'd like.
